Preparing for the Summer Games at the Olympics 2028

Kolby had her first swimming experience. She loved it! She was busy taking it all in but when she got comfortable she started kicking her legs like crazy.

Mommy and me!

Kolby and Mommy spend lots of time together during the day. Kolby loves to sit outside with mommy! Although she may not look happy - she is.....trust me!!

Yankee Doodle Kolby!

Kolby was all stars and stripes for the 4th of July. Although she didn't get to have watermelon and homemade peach ice cream - she loved being with the family and of course dressing for the occasion. And Yes - momma dressed up too - but only because Kolby didn't want to be the only one in red, white and blue. Good thing Momma loves Kolby so much! :-o

Live Music for Kolby!

Kolby had her first concert courtesy of her Uncle Zac. He played the guitar and she loved it! She kicked and kicked! Kolby learned early that Austin is still the live music capital of the world!

Snoozin!

One favorite past time of our little ladybug is to take naps with Daddy. She and daddy have lots in common. They both can produce enormous amounts of heat (great trait in the winter - not so much in the hot summers) and they can sleep through just about anything :-).

More Family Pictures!

Kolby also got to meet her Aunt Heather and soon to be Uncle Jonathan (less than 2 months away!!). Kolby got to spend lots of time with them (good practice for Heather and Jonathan)! She can't wait to be a flowergirl in the wedding - she will try not to drool on the dress too much! And Uncle Jonathan - the purple outfit was just a coincidence - she has too much pressure on what college to go to already with A&M and UT - she isn't even thinking about K-State!!! She does look good in purple though - but Daddy and Mommy think burnt orange and maroon are just as good of looks for her :-)!

Dad's Generation Picture

Kolby met her Gigi Jeanette for the 1st time over the July 4th weekend. She loved meeting her and we took lots of great pictures which we know she will love looking at later on! Thanks for coming all the way down from Fargo to meet Kolby!! We also got another generation picture. Kolby is the 1st great grandchild on the her dad's paternal side!

First Nature Hike

Dad and Mom took Kolby to the greenbelt for her 1st walk! She seemed to like it although she fell asleep after only a few minutes. It must have been such a peaceful experience!

My future's so bright - I gotta wear shades!

Its getting hotter and hotter and brighter and brighter in Austin these days so Kolby decided that it was time to bring out the shades!

Chillin in the car!

Kolby has gotten used to the car and likes to stare out the windows and looks at all that passes by. She seems mesmerized sometimes!

Cute Faces!

One thing I have noticed about out little one is all her little expressions. When she sleeps she can go from a frown to a smile in no time at all. She has started to smile all the time and it is so wonderful!
