Update on the Dennison Family

Ryan and I wanted to take a second and update everyone on a few things:

Kolby is now 19 months old. Whe she went to her last doctor appointment at 18 months she weighed 19 pounds which is the 3rd percentile. She is a little thing but we are glad she is back on the charts since her 15 month appointment had her at a negative 7 percentile for weight. Her height, 30.5 inches, has her in the 10% to 25% grouping. Her head circumference puts her in the 75% percentile. So, in summary, Kolby is teeny tiny with a very big head :) That must mean she has lots of brains :)

Also - Kolby is going to be a big sister! We are very excited about our new little one. We have a while to wait because little Baby Dennison is not due until June 4th but that is great timing because Kolby will have just turned two. We will wait to be surprised about what we are having which should make the excitement build for all of us. Kolby is not quite sure what is going on but she does know what babies are and gets excited when she sees other babies. She often kisses mommy's tummy because she knows that is where people tell her the baby is. We have also caught her telling other people that there is a baby in her tummy so who knows what she is thinking! I am not a big fan of tummy pictures so this is probably the only one you will see, but it is a picture of little Miss Kolby kissing Mommy's tummy. Also there is a picture of Kolby wearing a big sis t-shirt that we got her.
We have had some ultrasound pictures and will post those on the site as soon as I get around to scanning them. We will have the next ultrasound appt in mid-January and should have some very clear pictures to post. Then people can let the guessing game commence on what they think the baby is, although, we don't want to know!!!

We will keep you posted. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a VERY Happy New Year!

Some More Wedding Moments!!!

My Uncle Mike and Aunt Christy got married on November 21 in Georgia. I was the honorary flower girl. While I have no idea what that means - I had so much fun at the wedding and the dance party....or um reception. Thanks for the great party Aunt Christy and Uncle Mike.

Kolby went down to Georgia - She was looking for a heart to steal! She found one!

I went to my Uncle Mike's and Aunt Christy's wedding and well you know its very true that the best place to meet boys are at a wedding. I met a boy named Davis. Mommy says that is a VERY good name :). He and I danced all night and yes - we did have some special moments too! At the end of the night we had to go our separate ways .......well mostly because of bedtime. I hope we can rendevous at some point in the future. Daddy says when I am 30 we can.

Talking on the phone with Granna

Yes that's right - I am a very important person and need to make my very important calls. I expect people to take me seriously. Good things Granna understands that because that way she and I can make calls to each other.

Ho Ho Ha! I didn't cry Santa so please keep me on your nice list!

I went to go see Santa with Mommy and Daddy. They were pretty sure I was gonna cry. Boy did I fool them! They did so some pretty entertaining stuff to make me laugh so that was really funny and didn't hurt. But I knew from the start I was gonna crack a big smile for Santa!

A Trip to Shiner!

This was not my first trip to Shiner. Its wear my other great grandma lives. I call her Meme because that is what my mommy calls her too. She is 90 years old. She thought I was pretty darn funny and laughed at all the crazy things I did. She has a wheel chair and I had so much fun sitting in it I did not want to get out. I even got upset with my Gammy sat in it and put me on her lap - I wanted to be a big girl and sit in it all my myself!

Time with my GG Jeanette

I went to My Uncle Mike's wedding to my Aunt Christy in Georgia. I got to see some family that I haven't seen in a very long time. One of those people was my Great Grandma Jeanette. She rode with us back to the airport and she pretended to sleep so I would fall asleep too! It worked!

Dress up Time!

As much as I love the outdoors and love being a daddy's girl- there is a part of me that likes to dress up and do funny girly things. Mommy caught me on camera with this crazy outfit on. I tried to tell her no pictures - but she didn't listen very well!

Mmmm - Eating is Fun!

I usually am in a great mood in the mornings and this morning I was acting like a ham for mommy. I love eating my mini-muffins and fruit in the morning!

My 1st Museum Trip

Mommy and Daddy wanted to take me somewhere one Saturday but it was rainy so we couldn't go play outside so they took me to the Children's museum. I had lots of fun but I am not sure who had more fun - Daddy or me? hehe

It was fun playing with this guitar. Maybe I should take some lessons later!

Daddy may want to take some lessons with me - he looks good with a guitar.
